Sprouting by Jessica Ni Leacai
I let the lilies lie in their lilted lullabies,
of corners that cobwebs craved their cries,
When flowers fell in gardens not groomed,
and all creatures crawling craved rays of the moon.
While humans hindered lights that lit night’s street,
of no sheltering sidewalks solemnly did they greet,
On broken bottled pathways pondering in their time,
for all life’s troubles planted and left behind.

When Windows Pull Me Forward by Jessica Ni Leacai
When, in hours I held my harms from action,
the winds of windows pulled me forward,
And asked my leaping loneliness to
plunge the night’s air affirmingly.
Refusing, I reeled and remorsed these retractions,
with hollowed heaving in gasping grief,
and my urn an ornament of deflection,
of dour delayments while I paused in patience.
Selfishly, suitors left me lorn in opaque oustings,
when lunar lights descended upon windows open,
and I lain in lost longing for all that is absent,
while windows wooed me closer to my eminent expiration

Wasteful Encounters Spent by Jessica Ni Leacai
If I etched these eliminates in so much
that they would abscond with your amnesties,
I would never more need numbing reminders
to fill the frequents of my misering in musings.
You not necessary ever in overplayed overtones,
A melody so memorable, yet unessential and uncouth,
incanting my opals of catastrophes laid on lenses,
In veils of venomocity they tryingly tear from their curtains.
And you there tall and triumphing so effortlessly endued
with muppetry you placed and played on my existence.
And me not questing for qualms favoured from you
or your ilk inclined to impress on my sordidly soured soul.

In March, In Step, All Trampled in Fury by Jessica Ni Leacai
People, they steeped, stepping,
they thought necessarily nerved,
and I, not knowing kindly why.
I could not keep my questions,
my quizzical nature of needing,
knowledge of why things were.
How they hurried here this time,
in such comical canters chosen,
they came chancing my company.
And I picking my puzzlements,
these refined emotes unencountered,
of torments you thought therapeutic.

Of Structure and Grace Formed by Jessica Ni Leacai
I would wish myself a wall,
a fortress of forgotten time,
of stone surfaces in buildings built.
No towers there trapping me,
nor my heart so horridly bound,
And I not melted in marbled moments.
No faked fallacy,
No whispered want.
With the earth my eternal chamber,
A burial beneath the brandished bodies,
and asphalt not asking of our antiquity.

A Virtue Lost and Lonely by Jessica Ni Leacai
How patience pricks my fingers of valued virtue,
When calmness would not keep my callousness,
Like the urgency of time ticking on my clock chiming,
And you said cats could not companion me here.
So hours slide, slippery through these timbers,
As moments meander in and out of damp doorways,
Lighting left to luminosity of the sun and skies above,
And no showered love sits soundly in these window sills.
This alchemist of aspirated affection adorns her crown,
Of lost virtue, vanity, verbosity in a fashion firmly found,
With tiers of no triumph made in recourse, all remedies rued,
Her inheritance, a throne tyrannically trammelled of what’s accrued.

Only Common In Expiration by Jessica Ni Leacai
Anger, anxious , I boil to lengths fueled.
Insistence, igniting my flames uncouth.
No sense
No structure
Hath minds meticulate of nothing known, expired?
Do they transmit void valiancy of non variants?
In uncertain signals
In uncertain urgencies
Versified meters, I volume unread and misconstrued.
And only particulates present, we share as our remains.

Birds Breaking My Iced Cages by Jessica Ni Leacai
From glass cages, they freed
the fathomed birds and their demurs
dimmed the brightest skies and ice,
irked over these grounds of grieving.
As I seen them soar over my shadowed
sittings, I wished their travels would
welcome warmer weathers, but they
thought summer as no solitude in season.
So all sat seized by these colder breezes,
as beggars without solar celebrations and
how days drifted in longing of laughter,
to heat their hearts alighted and burning.
But chance this dream dared break
the boundaries of reoccurring reality,with
all knowing kindly my violated virtues, and
I not solitarily seeking other’s acknowledgement.

To Ashes Left Of Want by Jessica Ni Leacai
If the souring of my soul was
not forced by putrid airs, I would
greet the grimmest days with generosity.
But I am held here in this dormancy,
and I would not warm the coldest creatures.
For my heart’s hearth is encompassed
and enclosed within these wretched walls,
No visitors vainly seek my sentiments, only vanishments.
Of my arms exposed fall these ashen memories,
of all that was loved and never requited.
In these trials torments call out names
of loved ones left in anguish and their eyes,
ever eroding my mind in terror of trembling wakes.
With hands harbouring histories of a vacant
vagrant, and all imminency lost to the winds of sorrow.

The Day the Wolves Came by Jessica Ni Leacai
I on this hill of hatred, harming
myself for missions unfulfilled,
These culling chastisements, I
cast on my burdened back,
and my words wasted,no
worth nor use to you.
Expelled from ears, unwilling
for my merciless devices,
I am but wasted material, meaningless
garments no one would garnish.
Slowly they sear me in half, my soul
no longer my loyal saviour.

When Night Owls Long For Solace, They Call For You by Jessica Ni Leacai
Oh come, in heavy hours I would have you here,
In all my moments your memories have held me,
As I the child calmly sat in your soft hearted hands.
In reflective remnants, I see your vision of valiant virtue,
A loving lady left lonely as a mirror of my own self sorrowed,
Like mine, your heart harvested for hatred hereditarily here.
How I call, crying your name in these lamented lingerings,
But you can only cover my crimson bleedings in incorporeal form,
Yet alive, your hands holding me would dispel all these destructors.

Windows In Daylight Disruption by Jessica Ni Leacai
Inertia exclaimed in dizzying depths,
Of carpenters coursing hammers heavily.
Windows wide for breezes blowing,
Sit anxiously attendants unnervingly unkept.
Opals opened more perplexedly posed,
As caffeine craved alights anatomy.

Blind Are Their Books by Jessica Ni Leacai
What would one care of said dormant despairs,
With notions nailed furiously in frozen stares.
Heads held suspending self serving wares,
Ornaments of ornate ideas implement scares.
Nonchalant nerves trip thoughts ensnared,
Forming a fleshed falant of eyeing impaired.
Minds made for matter emit efforts en-layered,
And all inner instincts now needlessly unawared .

As A Child I Prayed For Death To Release, Now No More By Jessica Ni Leacai
What a kind creature, you comforting came,
When nighttime soured the evening flowers,
And I lingered lonely there for you the same.
How helplessly, hanging on has haggard worth,
For thoughts imprisoned all these visions,
And your dust disintegrating in damned dirt.
Would not want, will this widow from interment,
Could lamenting longfully cure all that is wrongful,
And my advocate adorning the time left spent.

Rambling in These Streets by Jessica Ni Leacai
How I wish your rambling roguery
would lead you lovingly to your destination,
That your youth was spent not so solo,
as this one man parade of partying pleasure.
How oft do I shelter your shadow
a greeting of rain ridden streets in locality,
To dry your joys of doubtful deeds done,
and wish you better banter for happier tomorrows.
How your words remit my remorse
of sorrows seeped of loss in dying days,
Melodies and memories you lend me always,
and my heart would hold you a friend forever.
How I hope you find your footing
of talent and skill set in your soulful self,
Keep smiling soundly,savouring existance,
for the world is wide and round, so go and win it
